Hypoallergenic Dog Beds

Hypoallergenic Dog Beds – Here’s the Deal

We’ve already been talking about the symptoms of dog allergies and the suffering that accompanies this ailment.  We’ve discussed our main approach as feeding our dog, not a regular run-of-the-mill dog food, but a hypoallergenic dog food as a way to reduce your dog’s allergy symptoms.

Other items of interest include regularly bathing your dog, cleaning your apartment, restricting your dog’s access to outdoor allergens, etc.  One of the other ideas that we discussed was to regulary wash your dog’s linens, meaning his towels and bed mats.  Following that solution to reducing your dog’s allergy problems is to purchase your pup some hypoallergenic dog beds you can rotate through.

Hypoallergenic Dog Beds – More Info

Now, saying that these are hypoallergenic dog beds does not mean that others are allergic reaction inducing, it just means that these beds are composed of materials that work better for sensitive dogs.  They are constructed to not include as many dog allergens as possible.  The bottom line is that these hypoallergenic dog beds are made with materials that are organic and are generally considered safe for all pets, but specifically for dogs who are sensitive to pooch allergies.  What’s really cool is most of these are made with recycled materials.  That’s a bonus to the whole planet!  You don’t have to sacrifice your eco-friendly ideals to get your dog some hypoallergenic dog beds.

So get rid of those plastic beds.  Get rid of those cotton bumper beds that only hold in hair and saliva and other allergens they pick up from outdoors.  Snag some nice organic, recycled-material hypoallergenic dog beds.

Since they are organic, there is no need to make a huge carbon foot-print by growing cotton and harvesting it and going through the huge ordeal of processing and dye-ing it for fabric.  These artifical colors are allergens for your dog!  They aren’t present in hypoallergenic dog beds, thankfully.  It’s a nice, green product that helps all of us including your dog.

Hypoallergenic Dog Beds – Comfort for Allergies and Sleeping

Your dog needs to have a place of his own to rest, especially if you don’t want the mutt to inhabit your couch or take over your bed.

Get him a couple of sweet hypoallergenic dog beds.  As a bonus, they are machine-washable!  Make sure you choose one that is of the appropriate size for your dog.

If your dog likes to lay in a ball, then you need a smaller one he can use for his nest.

If your dog likes to spread out, then get larger hypoallergenic dog beds for him to flop out in.  The main thing is two-fold.  You want your dog to have comfort, but you are trying to reduce allergy symptoms too.  Like hypoallergenic dog food, get your dog some hypoallergenic dog beds so he or she can live a healthy life without the annoyances of allergy symptoms.
